All answers in alphabetical order from A to Z. Click any question to expand the answer. We review this page every 2 weeks while the app is in active development.

A

Are giveaway prizes real?

Yes. Every month we ship one physical book to the winner. That is why, if you put your postal address in your profile, we only use it at that moment to send the prize. We never use it for advertising.

Are you going to charge me automatically?

Never. We do not store cards and we do not process payments. The only external transaction possible is buying a book on Amazon, which happens off our app, inside Amazon.

Can I change my display name or avatar whenever I want?

Yes. In 'Profile → Settings' you can change name, avatar, language and postal address as many times as you need.

Can I enter the giveaway without spending money?

Yes, 100%. All ways to earn tickets are free: approved reviews (+5), newsletter subscription (+1), daily streak, and redeeming peanuts (3 🥜 = 1 ticket).

Can I gift tickets to someone else?

Yes. From the 'Lottery' page you can gift tickets to a friend, registered or not. If they don't have an account yet, we email them an invite and the tickets are reserved in their name for 30 days; if they create their account within the first 7 days, as a referral bonus we credit you back the same amount of tickets as a reward.

Can I see what data you have about me?

Yes, any time. In your profile, under 'Privacy & data', hit 'Download my data' and we generate a file with all your info on the spot. If you prefer email, write to hello@littlechubbypress.com and we reply within 30 days max. It is a right recognized by GDPR and equivalent laws.

Can I use the app offline?

Not today. The app is 100% web. The next steps in our plan include turning it into a PWA (installable on mobile) and later a native app.

Do you delete my account if I ask?

Yes. No need to email us: from your profile, under 'Privacy & data', there's a red 'Delete my account' button. Your profile, reviews, photos and balances vanish from the app immediately and backup copies are purged within 30 days max. Before deleting, from the same section you can download a full copy of your data. We only keep aggregated anonymous stats and the technical logs the law requires.

Do you pay real money for peanuts?

No. Peanuts are a symbolic internal currency. They cannot be bought, sold or redeemed for money outside the app.

Do you sell or share my data with third parties?

No. We never sell data and we do not share it for advertising. We only share it with strictly necessary providers (database, hosting, emails), under contract and solely to deliver the service.

How do I change my email?

From 'Profile → Security → Change email'. Type the new address, we send a confirmation link there, and once you click it the change is live. Don't worry: your peanuts, tickets, reviews and badges are tied to your account (not to the email), so nothing is lost when you switch.

How do I download a coloring sheet?

On the 'Coloring Corner' page. Each download costs 1 peanut 🥜 (earned for free by sharing, by your daily streak, or by approved reviews).

How do I submit a book review?

Go to 'Reviews' in the menu, pick the book, upload a cover photo + at least 1 interior photo, set your rating (1–5 stars) and, optionally, a comment. Then it goes through moderation.

How do I unsubscribe from the newsletter?

Every email has an 'Unsubscribe' link at the bottom. One click is enough. We do not ask for reasons or extra confirmations.

How do peanuts 🥜 work?

They are our in-app currency. Earned FOR FREE (sharing, daily streak, reviews) and spent on cosmetic or useful things (badges, boosts, downloads, tickets). They never cost real money. They cannot be bought and cannot be redeemed for cash.

How does the daily streak work?

If you visit the app at least once a day, your streak goes up. Keeping it earns you +2 peanuts per day. If you miss a day, it resets to 1 (unless you have a streak freeze available).

How does the monthly giveaway work?

Every month we give away 1 free physical book. Every approved review earns you 5 tickets 🎟️, and you can buy more with peanuts (3 🥜 = 1 ticket). The draw runs automatically on day 1 of each month and we notify the winner by email.

How long until my review is approved?

We aim to moderate in under 48 hours. When it is approved you receive an email and your 5 tickets are automatically credited to your account.

Is the app free?

Yes. Registering, posting reviews, downloading free artwork, entering the monthly giveaway and earning peanuts is 100% free. Physical books are bought on Amazon; that happens off our app.

Is there an age limit to create an account?

Yes. The account is managed by an adult aged 18 or over (parent, grandparent, legal guardian). You confirm this with a checkbox at sign-up. The little ones in the family can read the books, color, and join in with you, but the account always stays under the responsible adult. If we find an account being managed by a minor without an adult behind it, we delete it.

My data — does it travel outside my country?

Our providers (Supabase, Vercel, Resend, Google Fonts) may process data in the United States or the European Union. All of them comply with Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent, ensuring legal protection even when the server is in another jurisdiction.

My review was rejected — what now?

You get an email explaining why (blurry photo, no interior visible, inappropriate content, etc.). You can edit and resubmit. No peanuts are lost for retrying.

What cookies does the app use?

Only essential ones: 3 Supabase session cookies (httpOnly + Secure, 7-day lifetime) to keep you logged in. We do NOT use advertising cookies, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any third-party trackers.

What do I do if an email or a review looks like spam or abuse?

Email us at hello@littlechubbypress.com with a screenshot. We review in under 48 hours. We run human moderation + automatic anti-abuse limits (rate limiting) on all important actions.

What happens if I forget my password?

On the login page there is a 'Forgot password' link. We send you an email with a secure link to create a new one. You can also sign in with a 'magic link' (a single-use link delivered to your email).

What is the featured badge?

A badge you choose to display publicly next to your name in the gallery. You can only feature one you already own. Change it from 'Profile → Adventure → Featured badge'.

What is the monthly leaderboard?

The top 5 peanut-earners of the month appear on the 'Peanuts' page. It is OPT-IN: by default you do NOT appear. From 'Profile → Settings → Show me on leaderboards' you toggle it anytime.

What languages is the app in?

Spanish and English, with full parity: every page, email and notification exists in both. Italian, Portuguese and French are planned for upcoming phases.

Who sees my email?

Only us (the internal team) and our technical providers (Supabase for authentication, Resend for sending emails). It is never shown publicly in the gallery or on your public profile.

Will my review show up in the public gallery automatically?

Only after a human reviewer approves it. We moderate to protect the community (no personal data visible, no inappropriate content). You can edit or delete it anytime from your profile.

Will you pay me for leaving a review?

No. Rewards are always peanuts 🥜 and tickets 🎟️ from the internal system. Never real money, never direct payment, never external promises.
